Community Food Drop

On the third Tuesday of every month, Project PLASE hosts a Community Food Drop. By partnering with the Maryland Food Bank, we are able to receive pallets of canned goods and fresh produce to distribute to community members for free! 

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this day run smoothly. We will meet at 9am to set up. This is an outdoor event, held in our parking lot, so make sure to dress accordingly. After bagging up all of the food and produce, we open up at 11am. From 11am to 1pm we distribute food to all who need/want it. Volunteers will be in charge of continuously packing bags and carrying bags to cars if possible. 

This is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals or groups. Also, a good way to interact with members of the community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Rachel, our Volunteer Coordinator, to sign up or with any questions.
