About

Fiesta Especial® Inclusion 5K & Parade program celebrates INCLUSION...the involvement and empowerment of everyone in an environment where the inherent worth and dignity of all people are recognized. This program advocates for an inclusive community that promotes and sustains a sense of belonging; that values and practices respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living of its members. 5K & 1-Mile participants compete in the race using whatever they need to help them get to the finish line.  Many run, some use prosthetics, some are pushed in wheelchairs or pushchairs, some use a sighted-guide, some use self-propelled or electric wheelchairs, and some adaptive bikes & trikes.  As the 5K participant crosses the finish line, the sights and sounds of the Fiesta Especial® parade takes the stage.  Headed up by the Fiesta Especial® Royal Court, fire trucks, convertibles, golf carts, and small town floats appear on the streets in a celebration like none other. $35~5K Registration/$25~1 Mile Dash registration/Parade Spectators are free.
